|a هدفت الدراسة إلى تحليل وتقييم الفهرس الموحد للمكتبات المدرسية في مصر، والتعرف على مدى اكتماله وشموله للمصادر المقتناة بالمكتبات المصرية، والتعرف على المشكلات والمعوقات التي يواجهها العاملون في إعداد الفهرس الموحد للمكتبات المدرسية المصرية، وباستخدام منهج دراسة الحالة توصلت الدراسة إلى عدة نتائج من أهمها أن المكتبات المدرسية المشتركة في إعداد الفهرس بلغت 2.19% من جملة المدارس الحكومية المصرية والمعاهد المشاركة في إعداد الفهرس بلغت 2.29% فقط من جملة المعاهد الأزهرية، فضلاً عن عدم وجود شكل رسمي وقانوني لاتحاد المكتبات المدرسية المصرية، وكذلك لا يوجد شكل مالي وإداري، وإنما يتم العمل بالفهرس بالاعتماد على الجهود التطوعية.

|b The study aimed to analyses and evaluate the union catalog in the School libraries in Egypt, and recognizing its perception's degree, and its Comprehension for the resources that the libraries have, and defining the problems and the obstacles that face the librarians in preparing the union catalog for school libraries in Egypt and by the case study method I've 'reached with the study lots of results and the more important ones of them is that the common schools libraries have reached 2.19% of the total of the Egyptian governmental schools in preparing the union catalog, and the involved institutes reached 2.29% only of the total of the AZHAR's institutes in preparing the union catalog due to, that there's no legal, formal form for the schools libraries corpus Egypt, and there's also the work with the union catalog gests done depending on the volunteers' effort.
