المستخلص: يمثل الدين أهمية بالغة لدى الإنسان منذ بدأ الخليفة، وذلك لرغبة الإنسان في تسجيل عقائده الدينية مما أدى إلى ارتباط الفن والعقيدة، وبخاصة مجال التصوير حيث صور في أعماله وقائع وأحداث دينية، وبعد البيت الحرام من أهم المظاهر الشكلية الدالة على الدين الإسلامي فهي أول بيت وضع لعباده الله على الأرض، فقد بناها سيدنا إبراهيم وولده إسماعيل بوحي من الله وتقع في مكة المكرمة، وتتجه الدراسة إلى توضيح علاقة الدين بالفن والدلالات التعبيرية للكعبة المشرفة في التصوير ورغبه الفنان في استعادة التراث في أعماله الفنية، بعد أن تمحور الفن في فترة الحداثة على ميتافيزيقا الذات، والتي يعتبر فيها الإنسان نفسه المقياس الوحيد للعالم حتى أدرك أهمية الجانب الروحاني والديني حيث وجد فيه الفنان القدرة على الإجابة على الكثير من الأسئلة الفلسفية التي تدور بخلد الفنان وعجز العلم عن الإجابة عنها، ولجوء الفنان إلى الرموز الدينية هو محاولة منه لإشراك الجمهور واجتذابه من خلال أشكال ثقافية مرتبطة بالدين، وقد ساهم الفنان المعاصر بشكل إيجابي في التعبير عن الكعبة المشرفة كرمز يمس كيان أعداد كبيرة من البشر الذين يعتنقون الدين الإسلامي، إلا أن التعبير عنها لم يقتصر على الفنانين المسلمين والعرب بل هناك من الفنانين الأجانب والذين يدينون بغير الإسلام قد عبروا عن الكعبة في أعمالهم، حيث أنها رمز للدين الإسلامي محملينها في لوحاتهم بالعديد من القيم وبأساليب مختلفة ومتفردة.

The religion represents an important importance for man since the start of Humanity , that's for the desire of man in recording his religious creeds and that lead to link the art with the creed, Specially in photography as he takes photos of his works and religious events , kaaba is one of the Formal manifestations referring to the Islamic religion , it is the first house to be worshipped on the earth ,as our prophet Ibrahim and his son ismail has been built it with a word of Allah in Makka. The thesis clarifies the relation between the religion and art and expressive indicators for Kaaba in Contemporary photography by considering it as the most important symbols of Islamic religion, and the direction of the contemporary artist for expressing about it , expresses about the desire of the artist in getting back his heritage of artistic works , After the art has focused on self metaphysics in the modernism in which man considers himself the only measure for world as he realized the importance of the spirit and religious side as the artist found his ability to answer about many questions of the philosophical questions raised in the artist mind due to the lack of knowledge to answer it , and for the artist resort to the religious symbols is a trial of him for participating the public and attracting him through cultural forms related to religion. The contemporary artist positively contributes in expressing on kaaba as a symbol relates to huge numbers of humanity that believe in the Islamic religion, though expressing about it , isn't restricted to the Muslim Arab artists , but there are foreign artists that don't believe in Islam and express about kaaba in their works , as it is a symbol for Islamic religion , using many expressive unique different methods
