المستخلص: لقد برزت مشكلة هذا البحث عندما تناول الباحث منهج التربية الفنية في المملكة العربية السعودية بالدراسة والتحليل في بحث سابق، حيث تبين أن المنهج ورغم تبنيه للنقد والتذوق الفني كمفهوم إلا أنه يركز على الإنتاج والتعبير الفني. وقد أراد الباحث في هذه المقالة البحثية أن يناقش أهمية النقد والتذوق الفني في التربية الفنية من خلال الوظائف والأدوار التي يلعبها في ثقافة المجتمع والتي يؤثر بواسطتها على ممارسات النقاد في الحكم على أعمال الفنانين، وعلى ممارسات معلمي التربية الفنية في تدريس أساليب نقدية تنمي شخصية الطالب وتكسبه قدرات الحكم النقدي. وقد خلص البحث إلى أهمية النقد والتذوق الفني من خلال الأدوار التي يلعبها في ثقافة المجتمع حيث يمثل النقد حلقة الوصل بين الفن والفنانين وبين المتلقين والمتذوقين بمختلف مستوياتهم، وأن معلم التربية الفنية يلعب دور الناقد عندما يقوم بإثارة النقاش داخل الصف، مما يكسب الطالب قدرات فنية ونفسية ولغوية وعلمية واجتماعية تسهم في بناء شخصيته. وقد أوصى الباحث بضرورة الاهتمام بالنقد والتذوق الفني ضمن منهج التربية الفنية في المملكة العربية السعودي، وتأكيد دور المعلم الناقد، والاهتمام بالأبحاث العلمية في مجال النقد والتذوق الفني للتعرف على أثره وفاعليته في ثقافة المجتمع وفي التربية الفنية.

The important of Art criticism and appreciation of art Has emerged as a problem in art education of this research when dealing with arts education curriculum in Saudi Arabia to study and analysis in a previous research, which shows that despite the adoption of the curriculum to criticism and appreciation, however, it was only a concept that the curriculum focuses on the production and artistic expression. The researcher wanted to discus in this article that the importance of art criticism and appreciation in the arts education should be through the functions and roles played in society and culture that affect the practices of which the critics to judge the work of artists, teachers practices of arts education in teaching methods to develop a personal critical judgment gain by the student capacities to govern art criticism and appreciation. The research emphasized on the importance of Art criticism and appreciation through the roles played by it in the culture of the community where the exchange link between art, artists, among recipients, and art appreciators at all levels, and that the teacher plays the role of the critic when raising the debate in the classroom, thus giving the student the capacity of technical and psychological and linguistic, scientific and social contribution to the building of his personality. The researcher recommended that the need for attention is to be given to art criticism and appreciation in the arts education curriculum in Saudi Arabia, reaffirmed the role of teacher as a critic, and the need for more interest in scientific research in the field of Art criticism and appreciation to identify the activeness and effectiveness in the culture of the community and in arts education.
