المستخلص: This study aims to document and study the costumes of Princess Norah Bint Abdul-Rahman Bin Faisal Al-Saud (god rest her soul) via classify her traditional costumes and determine decorations and method used in implementing and decorating this costumes. To contribute to folklore conservation, the researcher selected this important aspect as a study subject. The historical descriptive approach had been used in this study. Data was collected using a physical sample from the Princess’s costumes. The sample was photographed. Illustrations were made. Furthermore, samples were examined to identify the type of their fabrics and methods of their implementation and decoration. Personal interviews and literature were also used in this study. The physical sample used was from the collectibles of Princess Nouf Bint Abdullah Bin Mohammed Bin Saud. The time limits were from the establishment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), i.e. 1351 H. Through this study, a collection of the Princess’s costumes has been documented regarding their names, uses and decoration methods. The study revealed that there was a similarity between the Princess’s costumes and the traditional costumes of the wealthy women in Najd region during this period. The study, also, showed that the history of the Princess Norah is a part of the history of civilization of the Arabian Peninsula where she lived. The main priorities the Princess was considered in designing her and her family costumes were the climate and the lifestyle in the KSA. In addition, her well known innate intelligence led her put the KSA logo on her costumes to root the national identity in women. This study recommends the following; I) establish a center or a specialized body to show the Princess’s costumes and maintain them (in a museum for example) to serve as an educational center, II) take advantage of those costumes in media and tourism via the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities and III) find modern ways to revive this traditional costumes to ensure their spread and survival.
