يلعب الكاريكاتير دورا هاما كأداة للتواصل بين المجتمعات على اختلاف علومهم وأفكارهم ومشاربهم ولغاتهم وجنسياتهم؛ لما فيه من أهمية وجدية تعكس الحياة المختلفة السياسية والاجتماعية ،وذلك ،بهدف إثارة قضايا مركزية, في محاولة لاستكشاف رؤى قادرة على استثمار كل أدوات المعرفة ومرتكزاتها وكشف ما وراء الأحداث. الدور التحريضي للكاريكاتير في التعريف بالقضية الفلسطينية ونصرتها وإثارة المشاعر والدفع نحو التصرف والتطبيق خير دليل على فضح انتهاكات وجرائم الاحتلال الإسرائيلي بحق الشعب الفلسطيني. كثير من فناني الكاريكاتير تعرضوا لإهانات واعتداءات, وآخرين قدموا حياتهم رهناً لهذا الفن, فخسروا الرهان ، وما ناجي العلي إلا نموذجا . السؤال الذي يطرح نفسه, لماذا يحدث كل هذا مع فناني الكاريكاتير؟ هل هم أناس بشعون؟ وكيف هذا ؟ إذ أنهم يثيرون الضحك؟ وهل الضحك فعلاً سلاح مخيف؟! هذا ما يثير الرغبة في النفس للدراسة والبحث والغوص في أعماق هذا الفن الخطير, الأقوى والأشد في أساليب الدعاية والإعلام فعالية. ولإلقاء الضوء على دور الكاريكاتير في التعريف بالقضية الفلسطينية ونصرتها من جهة, ولغياب الدراسات العلمية المتخصصة والعميقة في هذا المجال من جهة أخرى كان لابد من دراسة موضوع هام كهذا.
Caricature plays an important role as a mean of communication between communities in spite of the differences in their, ideas, trends, languages nationalities, and because of its importance and seriousness that reflects the social and political life , aiming to raise central issues in attempt to explore views able to investigate all tools of knowledge and its centers and discover what is behind events. The inflammatory role to identify and support the Palestinian cause and raise the feelings toward behavior and application are the best evidence to uncover violations and crimes of Israeli occupation in the right of the Palestinian people. many of the caricaturists were exposed to insults and assaults, and others give their lives in pledge to this art but lost it and Naji al-Ali was a model . The question that puts itself forward is: why does all that happen with the caricaturists? Are they ugly? How come! They make us laugh? Is laughing really a terrified weapon?! That is what elicits the desire inside us to study, search and dive into this dangerous art, the most powerful and effective in propaganda, and media methods. To shed lights on the procedures of understanding the caricaturial text, its forming and kinds from one hand and the absence of the deep and specialized scientific studies in this field from the other hand, it was obligatory to study such important subject.
