|a من المشكلات المهمة والخطيرة الجديرة بالبحث والتحليل نظرا لتطور تظل مشكلة الفقر الظاهرة، وتعقيدها وتشابكها مع العديد من الظواهر الأخرى، وزيادة نسب من يعاني منها، بالرغم من جميع الجهود المبذولة على جميع الأصعدة لمحاولة مواجهتها. وتشير العديد من الدراسات إلى الوجه الأنثوي للفقر، بمعني أن النساء هن وجهة الفقر وأفقر الفقراء، من هذا المنطلق تسعى هذه الدراسة إلى تسليط الضوء على معاناة المرأة في الأسر الفقيرة. واعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، وعلى عينة عشوائية بلغ حجمها (1028) امرأة من الأسر الفقيرة بقرى ومراكز محافظة الشرقية، وتم سحب العينة بمعرفة وحدة الإحصاء بالمركز القومي للبحوث الاجتماعية والجنائية بالقاهرة. واستخدمت الدراسة أداة استبيان لجمع البيانات. وكشفت نتائج الدراسة عن أهم دوائر المعاناة للمرأة في الأسر الفقيرة هي على التوالي: الأسرة، والمرض، وتعليم الأبناء. وتؤكد الدراسة على زيادة حجم معاناة المرأة الفقيرة بعد تطبيق الدولة لسياسات التكيف الهيكلي (الخصخصة)، وانسحاب الدولة من مجال الرعاية الاجتماعية، وتحديدا من مجالي الصحة والتعليم. فتجد النساء يسعين بشتى السبل لسد هذا العجز. ومن أهم النتائج التي توصلت إليها الدراسة أن المرأة تتحمل جميع الأعباء المنزلية، فمشاركة الزوج لم تتجاوز1.7%، كما تعاني المرأة الفقيرة من أمراض مزمنة بنسبة48.1%، هذا بالإضافة إلى رعاية أفراد مرضى آخرين بأسرتها، حيث بلغت نسبة من يعانون من أمراض مزمنة داخل الأسرة الفقيرة 62.9%، وكأن المرض هو الوجه الآخر للفقر. كذلك كشفت نتائج الدراسة عن معاناة المرأة في مواصلة أبنائها في العملية التعليمية حيث تعجز نسبة 81.7% من نشاء عينة الدراسة عن سداد الرسوم الدراسية لأبنائهن.

|b The phenomenon of poverty continues to be one of most important and serious one that demands priority of research and critical analysis. This is because the phenomenon of poverty is so evident and so complicated since it is anchored to other serious social problems and sufferings. Besides, it is ever increasing and expanding in its magnitudes and nature, despite national and international efforts to contain its implications. One important manifestation of poverty is what is known as (the female- face - of -poverty)., in the sense that women are mostly suffer from poverty. This study utilized the social survey method by which a random sample of 1028 women from poor families in villages and centers of sharqiya Province (Egypt) were selected randomly. The sample was designed and selected in cooperation with the Statistical Unit of the National Social and Criminal Research Center in Cairo. The study used the structured questionnaire tool for data collection. The study reveals that the most important circles of sufferings that women face in poor households are: caring for family members, disease, and education of children. The study noticed an increase in the number of poor women after the government adopted (structural adjustment policies, austerity programs and privatization). All these resulted in the withdrawal of the State from the field of social welfare, and specifically from the areas of health and education, and left poor women seeking various ways to fulfil these obligation.. One of the most important findings of the study showed that women bear all household burdens, the participation of the husband did not exceed 1.7%. The study demonstrated that poor women suffering from chronic diseases is 48.1%. This in addition to the care of patients where the proportion of people who suffer from chronic diseases within the family and the poor countries 62.9%, the disease is the other face of poverty. Also the study revealed that poor families suffer from the burden of supporting their sons and daughter to continue their education, almost 81.7% were not able to pay school fees to their children.
