|a تهدف الدراسة الحالية إلى التعرف على المناخ ودوره في تقدير قوة الدولة ووزنها السياسي، نظراً لكون المناخ يؤثر في جميع مقومات الدولة البشرية والطبيعية، والتي تؤثر بدورها في الكيان السياسي للدولة، حيث ما زال للمناخ السلطان الأكبر على سطح الكرة الأرضية وعلى الحياة البشرية بأنشطتها المختلفة، وفيما تبلغه الدول من تقدم حضاري وتوجيه للاقتصاد، وبالتالي في تحديد قيمتها وكيانها السياسي. لذا جاءت هذه الدراسة لمحاولة إبراز دور المناخ في تقدير وزن الدولة السياسي عن طريق رصد لدور المناخ وتطور الحضارات من خلال دراسة لدور المناخ في نشأة الدول وانهيار الحضارات ودوره في تماسك أجزاء الدولة. فضلاً عن دراسة لأنواع الاستعمار السياسي ودور المناخ في هذا التقسيم. وكذلك التعرف علي دور المناخ في التنوع الاقتصادي وتحديداً التنوع النباتي وما يتبعه من أثر في قوة الدولة. إضافة إلى دراسة أثر المناخ بعناصره المختلفة في النواحي الحربية ودوره في سير العمليات العسكرية. وفي سبيل تحقيق أهداف البحث، اتبع الباحث منظور الجغرافيا السياسية مستنداً إلى عدد من المناهج البحثية؛ ومنها المنهج التاريخي في دراسة دور المناخ في ظهور الدول واندثار الحضارات، والمنهج الوصفي التحليلي في وصف عناصر المناخ ودورها في النواحي الحربية، فضلاً عن منهج تحليل القوة؛ والذي يعتمد على تحليل العامل الجغرافي –المناخ-الذي يدخل في تركيب الدولة كطرف في معادلة القوة وفي تقييم الوزن السياسي لها.

Add to study the impact of Climate and its various components of war and its role in the conduct of military operations. In order to achieve the objectives of the research follow researcher perspective of Political Geography based on a number of Research approaches; including the historical method in the study of the role of climate in the emergence of states and the demise of civilizations, and the descriptive analytical approach in the description of the elements of the climate and its role in the aspects of war, as well as Power analysis approach; which depends on the analysis of the geographical factor - climate - which enters in the composition of the state as a party in power equation in the evaluation of their political weight.
