المستخلص: Academic research is considered to be a fundamental pillar from the pillars of human knowledge in all fields of life. It has become one of the standards for progress and civilization in the world. Thanks to academic/scientific research, technology can be acquired, which is considered to be the effective tool to accomplish optimal investment of the available resources for development and progress.
Despite the far-reaching importance of academic research in respect to modernizing and developing societies, we note a lack of activity in institutions of higher education. Academic research in all Arab countries suffers from many problems, which have hampered the role of building and development.
Through this article, I will focus on the most important obstacles that hinder academic/scientific research, which are similar, to a large degree, among the countries of the Arab world and because of the cultural, economic, political and social conditions which they share in common with each other. That is with the aim of being able to provide solutions and a future vision to overcome the difficulties of academic/scientific research in universities. Arabic

يعتبر البحث العلمي ركيزة أساسية من ركائز المعرفة الإنسانية في كافة ميادين الحياة، أضحى أحد مقاييس الرقي والحضارة في العالم، وبفضل البحث العلمي يمكن امتلاك التكنولوجيا والتي تعتبر الأداة الفعالة لتحقيق الاستثمار الأمثل للموارد المتاحة من أجل تحقيق التنمية والتقدم.
وبالرغم من الأهمية القصوى للبحث العلمي في تحديث وتطوير المجتمعات إلا أننا نلاحظ قصور في نشاطه في مؤسسات التعليم العالي، حيث يعاني البحث العلمي في البلدان العربية جميعها مشكلات عديدة مما أعاق ذلك دور عملية البناء والتطوير.
فمن خلال هذا المقال سأركز على أهم المعوقات التي تعوق البحث العلمي، والتي تتشابه بدرجة كبيرة بين دول الوطن العربي ونظرا للظروف الثقافية والاقتصادية والسياسية والاجتماعية المشتركة بينها، بهدف الوصول إلى تقديم حلول ورؤية مستقبلية لتجاوز صعوبات البحث العلمي في الجامعات العربية.

La Recherche Scientifique est un facteur essentiel de développement et de civilisation dans le monde. Grâce à elle, s’est développée la technologie, qui est un outil efficace dans la réalisation de l’investissement idéal des ressources disponibles pour le développement et le progrès. Dans les pays arabes, la recherche scientifique souffre de divers problèmes, ce qui a empêché la réalisation du processus de développement (au sens large du mot) de ces pays.
Dans cet article, nous présentons les principaux obstacles qui empêchent la recherche scientifique d’atteindre ses objectifs au niveau des établissements du supérieur dans les pays arabes.
