Through our exposure to the reality of domestic violence and its depressing effects on the psyche of the battered wife, we must stress the need to address this phenomenon. That is because: Violence is nothing but a mechanism to destroy and demolish the abilities and energies of a giving wife who has not had the opportunity to display her abilities, growth and to yield her fruits, thereby disrupting the social and economic development requirements of society, and consequently worsening the economic situation of both the family and society. It is considered to serve as a judgment upon the backwardness of a given society, because the progress of society stems from the safety and advancement of its women in spirit and thought. The more the wife is free from the psychological and social pressures imposed on her, the more society moves towards progress and prosperity. Society derives its strength from the strength of its women, and an outstanding strength being possessed by women has an impact upon the economic and social progress of the society. This abstract translated by Dar AlMandumah Inc. 2018 من خلال تعرضنا للعنف الاسري وآثاره المحبطة لنفسية الزوجة المعنفة؛ ينبغي التأكيد على ضرورة التصدي لهذه الظاهرة وذلك لأن: العنف ليس إلا آلة تدمير وهدم لقدرات وطاقات الزوجة المعطاءة التي لم يتح لها فرصة إظهار قدراتها ونموها وإعطاء ثمارها، ومن ثم تعطيل متطلبات التنمية الاجتماعية والاقتصادية للمجتمع، بالتالي تدهور الوضع الاقتصادي للأسرة وللمجتمع معا؛ ويعتبر حكما على تخلف المجتمع؛ وذلك لأن تقدم المجتمع نابع من سلامة وتقدم نسائه روحا وفكرا، وكلما تحررت الزوجة من الضغوط النفسية والاجتماعية المفروضة عليها؛ كلما سار المجتمع نحو التقدم والازدهار والمجتمع يستمد قوته من قوة نسائه، والقوة الفائقة للمرأة تؤثر في التقدم الاقتصادي والاجتماعي للمجتمع... الخ. La violence conjugale est problème de santé publique qui nécessite l’intervention de plusieurs institutions publiques, ainsi que des acteurs sociaux qui peuvent contribuer au renforcement de l’application de la loi contre la violence conjugale et faire avancer les choses en matière de droits des femmes victimes de cette violence. Il est donc nécessaire de combattre ce phénomène, car cette violence n’est qu’un instrument de destruction des capacités et du potentiel des femmes, et qui peut avoir des conséquences négatives sur le bien-être de la famille et sur le développement de la société. |
