يهدف هذا البحث إلى دراسة لفظ "سواء" من حيث البنية، والمعنى، والإعراب؛ لما لها من قيمة دلالية ولغوية ثرية، فقد جرى حولها خلاف بين العلماء في معناها وإعرابها، وهو ما جعل "سواء" تحتمل في سياق واحد أكثر من معنى. وقد تناول هذه اللفظ كثير من النحاة واللغوين بالدرس والتحليل منذ زمن متقدم، وتكلموا في اصل بينتها، ومعناها، وإعرابها، ولما كان تناولهم هذا جاء مقتضباً، أو أنه لم يكن في موضوع واحد بل جاء في موضوعات متفرقة، وأبواب شتى من كتبهم، رأيت أن هذه اللفظة لم تنل حظها من التقصي، والبحث، والدراسة خاصة مع أهميتها، فقد وردت في كلام العرب كثيراً، واختلف النحاة حولها، ووردت في النصوص العربية من القرآن والشعر وكلام العرب بروايات مختلفة في ضبط آخرها، ولأجل ذلك كله سيحاول هذا البحث – بإذن الله – تتبع أهم ما قاله العلماء من النحاة واللغويين فيها، ودراسته، ونقده، وتحليل بعض التراكيب التي وردت فيها هذه الظاهرة اللغوية، حتى يتم لم شعثها، وجمع فرقتها، فيسهل على المختص وغير المختص الاطلاع على ما يحيط بـ "سواء" من مسائل في مكان واحد، وبحث مستقل، وقد جعلت ذلك كله في هذا البحث تحت ثلاثة موضوعات رئيسة، وهي: أولاً: بنية "سواء". ثانياً: معاني: "سواء". ثالثاً: مسائل تطبيقية في إعراب "سواء".
This study aims to study the word “whether” in terms of the structure, meaning and Syntax and Morphology, and that is because of its rich semantic and linguistic value. There was an argument about it in terms of its meaning and Syntax and Morphology and that what made “whether” intolerable in the context of more than one meaning. This word has been addressed by many of the grammarians and linguists by studying and investigating and analysis long times ago. And they spoke of the origin of its structure, and its meaning Syntax and Morphology. They studied it briefly or that it was not in one subject but came in different subjects, various sections of their books. I noticed that this word has not received their share of investigation, research, and study, especially with its importance, it has been mentioned in the language of the Arabs too much but grammarians disagreed around it. There were in Arabic texts from Qur’an, poetry and language of the Arabs, different novels in writing its last letters. And for that the whole attempt of this research will try _ God willing _ trace the most important scientists of grammarians and linguists’ saying, studying, and critique, and analysis of some of the compositions in which this phenomenon linguistic got, so it can be in good structure. Making it easier to specialist and non-specialist to see what surrounds “whether” of the issues in one situation, and independent research, and I made all of these in this research under three sections: First, the structure of "whether". Second: Meanings of: "whether" Third: practical issues in syntax and morphology of "whether."
