يشتغل إبراهيم الكوني على نمذجة العناوين وإحالتها إلى أعراف نسقية تهتم بالموروث الجمعي للصحراء الليبية الكبرى، إذ لا يخلو عنوان من إشارات باعثة على إحياء التاريخ الترقي القديم، لذلك فالتجسيد اللغوي للفواتح السردية يبعث على شهوة قرائية فعالة لحظة لقاء بصر القارئ بالنص المكتوب. إن تجربة الكوني مع هيكلة العناوين وفق نسق فني متميز، ظهر منذ كتابة أعماله الأولى التي تحتفي بالعجائبي والمثير للدهشة؛ إذ تشير جل عناوينه إلى ثراء الوجود المكاني للصحراء الكبرى داخل خارطة الكون رغم أن عالم الرمل متقشف محدود المادة، فهو ما يفتأ يجعل العنوان دالا على ذاته بعيدا عن المتن السردي، وفي ذلك دلالة على كثافة المنجز المعرفي المحال إليه.
Ibrahim El kouni works on modeling titles and forwarding them to the systematical customs which is interested on the collective heritage of the great Libyan Sahara , so that each title has a sign inciting to revive to the Targui antic history. And that's why the linguistic substantiation of the narrative openings provoke the appetite of an effective reading at the moment the reader puts his sight on the written text. The experience of Ibrahim El kouni with restructuring titles according to an artistic distinguished format appeared since his first writings which celebrate the fantastic and the extraordinary. And all his titles evoke spatial presence of the great Sahara into the universal map, although the fact that the world of sand is austere and limited, but it makes the title indicative of the same away from the body of the novel, and in this there is an indication of intensity of the performed cognitive referred to.
