This research aimed at studying the mechanisms of adaptation of animals in arid and semi-arid regions of Dar Hamar, presumably find a relationship between rainfall and mechanisms to cope with drought. Its importance comes because it discusses the behavior of animals , and changes of biological and anatomical, physiological and struggle to survive in the arid and semi-arid from a geographic perspective and the research has been used the inductive approach, and descriptive and analytical, style and rely the collection of information through observation and interviews, based on scientific sources. The research found the importance of understanding the behavior and language of animals and the method of dealing with the environment so as to reduce the environmental stress for animals and the lack of its biodiversity. It confirmed the existence of a direct relationship between the amount of water available and the coping mechanisms of the animal in these environments, although animal life and diversity direct proportion to the density of plant life. And the most influential factor on living organisms and animals in particular, the factor of the climate and most notably is the scarcity of water in the study area and adapt many manifestations and complementary to each other and come to one result is the adaptation and the possibility of living in these environments. The study recommends the need to preserve the environment of the animal the proper use and environmental awareness with his behavior and adapting to the environment.
استهدف هذا البحث دراسة آليات التكيف للحيوانات في المناطق الجافة وشبه الجافة بمنطقة دار حمر، ويفترض البحث وجود علاقة بين معدلات الأمطار وآليات التكيف مع الجفاف. وتأتي أهميته من أنه يناقش سلوك الحيوانات وتحوراتها البيولوجية والتشريحية والفسيولوجية وصراعها من أجل البقاء في المناطق الجافة وشبه الجافة من منظور جغرافي وقد استخدم البحث المنهج الاستقرائي، والأسلوب الوصفي التحليلي، واعتمد في جمع المعلومات على الملاحظة والمشاهدة والمقابلات الشخصية، والمصادر العلمية. توصل البحث لأهمية فهم سلوك ولغة الحيوان وطريقة تعامله مع البيئات حتى لا نزيد من الإجهاد البيئي للحيوانات وانعدام تنوعه الحيوي، وأكد على وجود علاقة مباشرة بين كمية الماء المتاح وآليات التكيف للحيوان في هذه البيئات وإن الحياة الحيوانية وتنوعها تتناسب تناسباً طردياً مع كثافة الحياة النباتية. وأن أهم عامل مؤثر على الكائنات الحية والحيوان بصفة خاصة هو عامل المناخ وبصفة أخص هو ندوة المياه في منطقة الدراسة. وللتكيف مظاهر عديدة ومكملة لبعضها وتأتي بنتيجة واحدة هي التكيف وإمكانية العيش في هذه البيئات. وتوصي الدراسة بضرورة الحفاظ على بيئة الحيوان بالاستخدام السليم والتوعية البيئية بسلوكه وتكيفه مع البيئة.
