المستخلص: This study attempts to analyze the role of culture and colors on Sudanese written advertisements. The questions are: What is the role of culture on advertisement? To what extend do colors impact on the written advertisements? What is the relation between culture and color? The data collected through content analysis which depends on written resources from Sudan Vision Newspaper, during the year 2009. The study depends on textual analysis as a method to collect data from the newspaper and then analyze them as content. The study came out with these results: Culture has great influence on the advertisement; it motivates the background knowledge and information, people of different cultures have different thoughts and emotions about certain colors, every color means something to every person; this meaning varies depending on our personal references and cultural background, the colors that choose can increase the chance of reaching goals. The study recommends that: further studies should focus on the influence of culture and color in advertisement on specific class, and the role of specific ethnic in Sudanese society should be as sample of the influence of culture in certain area.
