|b This work aims to confront the Asian experience to the African one in giving the role of the State in the process of industrialization. In other words, it is to verify public reluctance in the industrial context in Africa compared to other developing countries, mainly Asia. To do this, lthe author selected a set of eco-industrial criteria to classify 70 developing countries according to their degree of industrialization. It clearly appears that the African region is the least industrialized region. Tthe work attributes this delay to industrial inefficiency in terms of public policies. Thus the experiences of Asian countries (such as China and South Korea) give us a fertile field and an adequate framework to determine the keys to success of the african countries. This then leads us to rethink about the role of the African state in the industrial framework, drawing lessons from other developing countries, and detecting the evils of Africa in the wake.
