This book “ Understanding Human Society “ contains five chapters , the first one about studying human society in which social terms are defined in abroad sense , also this chapter jump to cover social stratifications in South Africa in particular and other parts of the world especially Indian Stratification System. I have tried to convey the meaning of the message that the Author aims to send. While in the Second chapters is the political dimension of the Society where politics and related political terms are covered .the Author also spoke about politics and law , power and some power distribution in western community. The third chapter was about the Economics and Economic analysis, my translation work was to translate the definition of Economics and the basis of Economics and the concept of Scarcity and wants that the Author exposed to in elaborate sense. This chapter was also focusing in the three solutions to Economic problem. Other topics such as analysis of southern African Society, Economic Sector, and distribution of wealth were covered and translated taking into account the equivalent terms used normally in target language. Whereas the fourth chapter was about cultural nature of human society, the concept of culture, culture and human Experience were covered in addition to culture and modern world. This chapter distinguished by the use of words that spoken by South African communities like Zulu. In my point of view it was real culture with the full sense of word. In the last chapter the Author spoke about transforming Society and why things change and social transformation through action, in general my work was to translate the sense or the meaning this marvelous Author hopes to convey in sense close to target language if the Author would have written it in Arabic language.
