المستخلص: This study is an investigation to estimate the efficiency score relating to the commercial and investment banks efficiency in Jordan through employing Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) specifically; Slack Based Measurement(SBM). The study covered the period (2007-2013) which including mainly political and global challenging (Global financial crisis and Arab spring). The intermediation approach were used in DEA, three inputs namely; fixed assets, deposit and total interest expense, and three outputs; investment, loans and total interest revenue. The results show that the ranking of the commercial banks has changed greatly between 2007 and 2009. The efficiency has been reduced significantly in 2010 and 2013 ranks the highest number of efficient banks. Furthermore, the banks were efficient in Arab spring period rather than GFCs period.
