هدف المقال تناول كلمة الأستاذ الدكتور مختار نويوات بمناسبة تكريمه في اليوم العالمي للغة العربية بالمكتبة الوطنية في 18 ديسمبر 2014. ومن أبرز ما جاء في كلمة الدكتور مختار نويوات شكره وتقديره وامتنانه للمجلس الأعلى للغة العربية فتحدث عن المجلس وعن ترشحه ليكون عضوا به موضحا أنه مدين بالكثير لهذه المؤسسة الثقافية العلمية. وتطرق بعده للحديث عن التكريم فأهداه إلى والده الذي رباه على حب اللغة العربية وحفظ القرآن الكريم. وعبر الدكتور مختار عن بعض ما يشغل بال الجزائريين من قضايا خاصة باللغة العربية أساس التعليم في مراحل الأساسي والثانوي والعالي مشيرا إلى أنها ليست وسيلة للثقافة بل هى الثقافة نفسها وأن تدريسها مركز الدائرة وقطب الرحى في عملية التعليم. وأنها استمدت الكثير من الحضارات القديمة وأمدت بالكثير النهضة الغربية متسائلا هل أدينا واجبنا نحو لغتنا في إطار منظمتنا التربوية وفي التعليم العالي. واختتم الدكتور مختار كلمته بأن من لم يملك لغة لم يملك أسباب التقدم في زمن من لم يتقدم فيه تأخر وأن اللغة العربية هي لغتنا إن رعيناها رعتنا وإن طورناها طورتنا.كُتب هذا المستخلص من قِبل دار المنظومة 2018
The aim of the article was to address Dr. Mokhtar Nweiwat's speech on the occasion of his honoring on the International Day of Arabic Language at the National Library on December 18, 2014. The most important thing in the speech of Dr. Mokhtar Nweiwat is his thanks and appreciation to the Supreme Council of the Arabic Language, talking about the Council and his candidacy to be a member, explaining that he owes much to this scientific cultural institution. He then went on to talk about his honoring and dedicated it to his father, who raised him loving the Arabic language and memorizing the Holy Quran. Dr. Mokhtar expressed some of the concerns of Algerians of issues related to the Arabic language; the basis of education, in the basic stages, secondary and higher, pointing out that it is not a means of culture, but the culture itself and teaching it considers as the center of the circle and the pole in the process of education. He said as well that it obtained a lot from the ancient civilizations and provided much to the Western Renaissance, wondering if we have fulfilled our duty towards our language within the framework of our educational organization and higher education. Dr. Mokhtar concluded by saying that those who do not have a language do not have the reasons for progress at the time in which people who do not make progress stay behind, and that Arabic is our language if we took care of it and developed it, it would do us the same.This abstract translated by Dar AlMandumah Inc. 2018
