هدف البحث إلى الكشف عن ماهية الانضباط ودوره في تربية الأبناء. كما أشار المقال إلى أن أهم خطوات التنشئة الاجتماعية تكمن في ضبط السلوك، لذلك كان الانضباط في الأصل مرادفا للتربية، ويتم عن طريق سلطة خارجية، أو عن طريق الفرد نفسه بخضوعه التلقائي للأعراف والمعايير الاجتماعية التي تحدد المستويات الأخلاقية للجميع. وأوضح المقال العلاقة بين الضبط والانضباط من خلال الانضباط الداخلي (الذاتي)، والعوامل التربوية المؤثرة في الانضباط الذاتي للناشئة، ثم التربية على الانضباط، واستمرارية الضبط، وأيضا الضبط الإقناعي بدل العقابي، والتربية في مواجهة التحديات، وأخيرا ضبط السلوك وليس الفرد. واختتم المقال بأن التربية تعد أداة مهمة من أدوات الضبط الاجتماعي، تساعد على تنظيم السلوك وغرس قيم المجتمع ومعاييره واتجاهاته لدي الأفراد، إلا ان هذه المهمة أصبحت اليوم تكتسي صعوبة كبري، نتيجة التطور التقني والاجتماعي الذي وسع دائرة المتدخلين في تربية النشء والتأثير فيه، وجعل مهمة التربية تزداد تعقيدا وصعوبة.كُتب هذا المستخلص من قِبل دار المنظومة 2018
The purpose of the research is to reveal the nature of discipline and its role in raising children. The article pointed out that the most important step of social uprising lies in the control of behavior. Therefore, discipline was originally synonymous with education and was carried out by an external authority, or by the individual himself, by automatically introducing social norms and standards that set moral standards for all. The article explains the relationship between control and discipline through internal discipline (self-discipline), educational factors influencing the self-discipline of the youth, education on discipline, continuity of discipline, discipline by persuasion instead of punishment, education in the face of challenges, and finally behavior control rather than the individual. The article concluded that education is an important tool of social control, which helps to regulate the behavior and inculcate the values of society and its standards and trends in individuals.
