المستخلص: The aim of this article was to shed light on the interrelationship between man and the environment. The article included three main themes. The first axis dealt with the evidences about the life of the environmental components and the equilibrium and balance between the components of the environment. The article followed in the second axis the problems caused by the natural imbalance of the ecosystems, including the problem of population growth, the problem of pollution and air, and the problem of the agricultural land. The third axis contained the role of man in the investment of the natural resources, it included the relationship between the man and the earth, his relationship to the water resources, and his awareness of the importance of work and time. The article concludes with the need to restore the environmental balance for a period of time that is longer or shorter, depending on the impact of the imbalance caused by the changes in the natural conditions, or in some vital conditions that are based on the relationships of living organisms in the environment or as a result of the direct human intervention, in addition emphasizing that the environment is organized into complex systems that interact with each other, and elements of the environment involved in the interaction, according to appropriate proportions and forms that maintain the ecological balance between these systems.

هدف المقال إلى الكشف عن العلاقة المتبادلة بين الإنسان والبيئة. اشتمل المقال على ثلاثة محاور رئيسة. المحور الأول تناول الأدلة على حياة المكونات البيئية والاتزان والتوازن بين مكونات البيئة. وتتبع في المحور الثاني المشكلات الناجمة عن اختلال التوازن الطبيعي للنظم البيئية، ومنها مشكلة الزيادة السكانية، ومشكلة التلوث والهواء، ومشكلة الأرض الزراعية. كما جاء في المحور الثالث دور الإنسان في استثمار المصادر الطبيعية، وتضمن علاقة الإنسان بالأرض، وعلاقته بالثروة المائية، وإدراكه لأهمية العمل والوقت. واختتم المقال بضرورة عودة الاتزان البيئي فترة زمنية تطول أو تقصر، حسب الأثر الذي أحدثه الخلل الحادث، نتيجة التغير في الظروف الطبيعية، أو في بعض الظروف الحيوية المؤسسة على علاقات الكائنات الحية في البيئة، أو كنتيجة لتدخل الإنسان المباشر. والتأكيد على أن البيئة تنتظم في أنظمة معقدة تتفاعل مع بعضها، وعناصر البيئة المشتركة في التفاعل، على نسب وأشكال مناسبة تعمل على حفظ التوازن البيئي بين هذه الأنظمة.
