المستخلص: تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى إبراز أهمية الأعمدة الرخامية كمادة أثرية لا تقل أهمية عن باقي المواد المستعملة في بناء القصور والمعالم الأثرية على وجه العموم، وعلى وجه الخصوص التطرق إلى دورها واستعمالها في تشيد قصر أحمد باي بقسنطية من الناحية الجمالية والمعمارية، مع محاولة إظهار أهم عوامل تلف مادة الرخام وحالة حفظها في القصر لتقديم جملة من الحلول والاقتراحات لصيانتها والمحافظة عليها، وعلى هذا الملك الأثري للأجيال المستقبلية.

Le but de cette étude pour mettre en évidence l'importance des colonnes en marbre dans les constructions et les monuments archéologiques en général et en particulier aborder son rôle et utilisation dans le palais d'Ahmed Constantine, avec une tentative de montrer les facteurs les plus importants responsables à l’altération du marbre , afin de fournir des solutions et des moyennes de conservation et restauration et ceci, a possédé le site archéologique pour des générations futures.

This study aims to highlight the importance of marble columns as archaeological material. Marble is no less important than other materials used in the construction of palaces and archaeological monuments in general. In particular, the study aims to address the role and use of marble in the construction of the Palace of Ahmed Bay in Constantine from the aesthetic and architectural standard. In an attempt to show the most important factors of damage to the marble material and the state of its preservation in the palace to offer a number of solutions and suggestions for its maintenance, in addition to the preservation of both the marble columns and this archaeological king for future generations.
