|a الاعتراف الدولي هو إفصاح دولة أو أكثر عن إرادتها في الدخول في علاقات دولية مع دولة قائمة بالفعل أو دولة جديدة، وأساسه أن تمارس الدولة سلطتها على الإقليم، وهو خمس صور وأنواع فأما صوره الضمني والصريح، الفردي والجماعي، القانوني والواقعي والإرادي المفروض، المقيد وغير المقيد، وأما أنواعه فهي الاعتراف بالحكومة الاعتراف بالثائرين الاعتراف بالمحاربين الاعتراف بالأمة والاعتراف بحركات التحرر.\nوأما أقرب النظريات التي تكلمت عن طبيعة الاعتراف الدولي ذو طبيعة كاشفة أو مقررة لا منشئة.\nالدول حرة في الاعتراف بأي دولة ولا تكره على الاعتراف، الذي يمثل قبول حقيقة هي دولة جديدة، وإنه من غير المناسب سحب هذا الاعتراف، والحالة الوحيدة التي يمكن عندها إلغاء الاعتراف هي اندثار الدولة الجديدة أو فقدانها استقلالها وبعبارة أخرى إلغاء الحقيقة التي أقر الاعتراف بأنها حقيقة.

|f International recognition is the disclosure by one or more States of its will to enter into international relations with an already existing State or a new State, the basis being that the State exercises its authority over the territory; it is five forms and types. Its forms are implicit and explicit, individual and collective, legal, realistic and compulsory, restrictive and unrestricted, and its types are recognition of the Government, recognition of the rebels, recognition of the combatants, recognition of the nation and recognition of liberation movements. \nThe most recent theories about the nature of international recognition are of a revealing or determined nature rather than a creating one.\nStates are free to recognize any State and are not forced to recognize, which represents acceptance of the fact that it is a new State, and it is inappropriate to withdraw such recognition.
