يهدف هذا البحث إلى بيان بعض قواعد التفسير عند الشاطبي من خلال كتابه الموافقات الذي تميز بالأصالة، ودقة العبارة. وأولى هذه الأسس اعتماده على المأثور من السنة المباركة، وهو من أعلى درجات التفسير؛ لأن القرآن نزل كليا فلا بد من بيانه بالسنة، ثم تفسير الصحابة رضي الله تعالى عنهم، وأسباب النزول. وبين البحث أن من العناصر المهمة في التفسير عند الشاطبي، استعمال الرأي في بيان معاني القرآن الكريم وفق ضوابط سليمة، منها التقوى ومراقبة الله تعالى، وأن يكون جاريا على سنن اللغة العربية، ووفق معهود العرب، ومعرفة عاداتهم، وغير ذلك من شروط التفسير. كما بين البحث بعض ما يتعين مراعاته عند تفسير كتاب الله تعالى، منها؛ عدم عمل المفسر بما يعلم، والتكلف والزيادة على المعنى المراد، وكل تفسير أورث عداوة وفرقة.
This research aims to identify some of Shatbi’s rules and principles of Qura’nic interpretations/Exegesis as set forth in his book “al muwaafaqaat” which is distinguished for its originality and concisenes. His principles of interpretation are: (a). The transmitted Prophetic Traditions, which represent the highest levels of interpretation because the Holy Que’an was revealed with a general message and the Sunna is deemed necessary for its explanations, (b) the Companions explanations and clarifications and (c) the occasion of the revelation. The paper also shows that the other set of important principles Al Shatibi followed in his interpretation among which are the following: (a) Interpretive judgment in the explanation of the meaning and messages of the Holy Qur’an in accordance with proper standards which include: faith and consciousness of God, following the standard rules of Arabic, Arab conventions, customs and traditions. The paper also highlights what should be observed (and avoided) in interpreting the Holy Qur’an. These include: (a) The interpreter does not do what he preaches (knows); (b) pretending and giving more than the intended meaning, and (c) Interpretations which create or lead to hostility and division.
