المستخلص: Varthema claimed Islam and lanched from Damascus pilgrims house of god..he wrote and record his observation. The trip of Orientalist varthema to the Arabian island in the early tenth century corresponding to the sixth century considered an important document about the cultural aspects of the region at that time, derives it's significance from being the first European trip to this area.: He then described the Medina and the prophet mosque as well as the description of Mecca and the kaaba.. The motives for the trip political and economic ratified in some aspects and lied and gave a distorted interpretation of religious matters in accordance with the culture of Christianity .the researcher has analyzed this journey and towards what the traveler signed from mistake.
