|a تعد دراسة القبائل العربية من الدراسات المهمة من حيث أصلها وفروعها ودورها في المجتمع من النواحي كافة، سواء أكان المجتمع الإسلامي بشكل عام المجتمع الأندلسي بشكل خاص. وقبيلة لخم هي واحدة من أبرز القبائل اليمنية التي استقرت في بلاد الاندلس منذ حقبة مبكرة من تاريخها، وكان لها دور كبير في مختلف جوانب الحياة ولاسيما الجانب الفكري. لذا جاء هذا البحث ليسلط الضوء على دور اللخميين في هذا الجانب ولاسيما العلوم الدينية، وتحديدا" علوم القرآن الكريم بفرعيها القراءات والتفسير، التي لاقت اهتماما كبيرا من الاندلسيين ومن بينهم اللخميين الذين أبدوا تفوقا واضحا فيها، اذ من خلالها يتم التوصل الى معرفة القراءة الصحيحة للقرآن الكريم وفهم معانيه، كما أن الشخص لا يعد فقيها" أو محدثا" أو متكلما" ما لم يكن عالما" بعلوم القرآن الكريم.
