|a تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على التخزين السحابي للبيانات وأمن المعلومات من حيث مفهومه وأهميته ومميزاته وعيوبه، والتحديات التي تواجهه وكيفية الاستفادة منه في مجال المكتبات، واستخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي في دراسة الموضوع، وتوصلت إلى مجموعة من النتـائج من أهمها: إمكانية الاستفادة من التخزين السحابي في جميع المؤسسات وخاصة المكتبات ، ويعد التخزين السحابي احد أركان الحوسبة السحابية، كما أنه يقلل من نفقات الاستخدام بالنسبة للأفراد والمؤسسات، ويوفر الوقت والجهد في الحصول على البيانات والمعلومات من أي مكان في العالم دون التقيد بأجهزة محددة، وأوصت الدراسة بضرورة زيادة البحث الأكاديمي في مجال التخزين السحابي؛ لأن هذا المجال لازال بكرا، كما أوصت بضرورة تأمين البيانات أثناء التخزين السحابي، وتفعيل خدمة التخزين السحابي في جميع المؤسسات لما يتمتع به من مميزات.

|b This study aimed at introducing the concept of cloud storing; its definition, importance, advantages, disadvantages, challenges and ways to overcome these challenges as well as aspects of benefit of cloud storing to the field of libraries. The study used the analytical descriptive approach, and reached the following results: there is a high possibility of making use of cloud storing in all institutions including libraries. Cloud storing is a basic factor in cloud computing that reduces costs for individuals and institutions, saves time and effort in seeking data from any place in the world. The study recommended that more research work should be undertaken in the field of cloud storage, and the necessity of activating cloud storage ـــــــtaking the full information security precautions- in all institutions.
