Reading has many levels, depending on the nature of the texts in front of us. The imagination can be described as a gift characterized by flexibility, leaping, and combining contradictions that can take us to the world of the text. Whether this text belongs to the deep past or the present, it is by the imagination that we can live with the text again, the accommodation and residence in the world that it proposes according to Ricœur. Thus reading by the imagination is of one age. The time in which it was produced does not matter as much as the world and the significance it provides to the reader, the imagination according to Ricœur: it is a space for travel to understand the world of texts and on this, the wounded cogito is saved. This abstract translated by Dar AlMandumah Inc. 2018 للقراءة مستويات، بحسب طبيعة النصوص الماثلة أمامنا، ويمكن للمخيلة بوصفها ملكة تتسم بالمرونة والقفز والجمع بين المتناقضات أن تنقلنا إلى عالم النص، وسواء انتمي هذا النص إلى الماضي السحيق أو الحاضر، فبواسطة المخيلة يمكن أن نحيا مع النص ثانية، والسكن والإقامة في العالم الذي يقترحه بحسب المصطلح الريكوري، وهكذا تكون القراءة بواسطة الخيال ذات عمر واحد، لا يهم الزمن الذي انتجت فيه بقدر ما يهم العالم والدلالة التي تقدمها للقارئ، الخيال بالنسبة إلى ريكور: هو فضاء للترحال والسفر لفهم عالم النصوص وعلى هذا يتم انقاذ الكوجيتو الجريح.
