The purpose of the current study was to identify the most important determinants in which they can predict the political violence among the Egyptian people, the sample is about 202 members of the Egyptian people differntiate in age, gender, educational level and economic and education level for parents and place of residence. the researchers identified a number of psychological and social variables that assumed it linked to political violence, and included a variable concerns the future anexity, negative political beliefs, and anger as a trait, religious orientation, locus of control. the results showed a discrepancy in political violence du to a contrast in variable place of residence, and the height of each of the future anexity and anger as a trait and religious orientation of the study sample, also the low degree of political violence they have, the results indicated also that we can predict the political violence from variables the future anexity and the degree of anger and age, we proposed a theory for those relationships to explain the degree of political violence in the Egyptian society, and interpreted the results in light of previous studies and theories which explained political violence.
هدف البحث الراهن إلى تحديد أهم المحددات التي يمكن من خلالها التنبؤ بالعنف السياسي لدى أفراد الشعب المصري، بلغت عينة البحث نحو 202 مشارك تباينوا في متغيرات العمر والنوع والمستوى التعليمي والاقتصادي ومستوى تعليم الوالدين والمهنة. وقام الباحثان بتحديد عدد من المتغيرات النفسية والاجتماعية التي افترضا أنها ترتبط بالعنف السياسي، وتضمنت متغير قلق المستقبل، والمعتقدات السياسية السلبية، وسمة الغضب، والتوجه الديني، ومركز الضبط. وأظهرت النتائج وجود تباين في درجة العنف السياسي بتباين متغير محل الإقامة، وارتفاع كل من درجة قلق المستقبل وسمة الغضب والتوجه الديني لدى أفراد عينة البحث، وانخفاض درجة العنف السياسي لديهم، وأشارت النتائج أيضا إلى أنه يمكن التنبؤ بالعنف السياسي من متغير قلق المستقبل ودرجة الغضب والعمر، وقد اقترح الباحثان تصورا لتلك العلاقات لتفسير درجة العنف السياسي في المجتمع المصري، وفسرت النتائج في ضوء البحوث والدراسات السابقة وكذلك النظريات المفسرة للعنف السياسي.
