المستخلص: يعد الشرود الذهني مشكلة تعطل أفضل قوى الإنسان التي يتميز بها على سائر المخلوقات وهي العقل والفكر إذ أن كثرا ما يتعرض الفرد في محيطة إلى العديد من القضايا والمشاكل التي سلبيا على أبياته وسلوكياته لولا أن ملكة العقل تتصدي لها بما تملكه من قدرات معرفية وذهنية وحسية بحيث لا تؤدي بالتالي إلى خروج الفرد من الأبعاد الكامنة لوجوده ككائن حي في المجتمع. أن احدى أكبر المشكلات في الرياضة سواء كانت تنافسية أو ودية على مشكلة الشرود الذهني إذ أن الذهن الشارد قد يخلق قصورا ذهنيا ويسبب أخطاء ذهنية خلال أداء الفعالية الرياضية، والذي يؤثر سلبا على الأداء، إذ أن الكثير من الرياضيين يرجعون بسبب انخفاض مستوى أدائهم في المنافسة إلى الشرود الذهني. ويهدف البحث إلى بناء مقياس للشرود الذهني للاعبي كرة القدم، ولأجل تحقيق ذلك قام الباحثون بتصميم مقياس للشرود الذهني، واستخدم الباحثون المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، واشتمل مجتمع البحث على عدد من لاعبي كرة القدم من معاهد التربية الرياضية في المنطقة الشمالية البالغ عددهم (285) لاعبا وموزعين على (12) معهد، وقد عوجلت البيانات إحصائيا بواسطة الوسط الحسابي، الانحراف المعياري، النسبة المئوية، اختبار (ت) لعينتين مستقلتين، معامل الارتباط البسيط لبيرسون. وقد توصل الباحثون إلى صلاحية مقياس الشرود الذهني للاعبي كرة القدم، وأوصى الباحثون بتطبيق مقياس الشرود الذهني من قبل الباحثين الذين لديهم نوجد منهج دراسة الشرود الذهني لدى لاعبي كرة القدم فضلا عن استخدام المقياس في الدراسات التجريبية باعتباره محك يمكن الرجوع إليه كاختبار قبلي وبعدي للتعرف على درجة الشرود الذهني.
