المستخلص: This study aimed to identify the extent of the contribution of the school as an educational institution with its various components, and the degree of its effectiveness in promoting the values of loyalty and belonging and instilling them among students. It also defines the extent to which students are aware of these values, and the differences with statistical connotations according to the variables of the study. The study followed the descriptive analytical approach. The questionnaire was applied to a sample of 3250 students in secondary education in the State of Kuwait for the academic year 2013-2014, and 2608 questionnaires were recovered. The number of male tudents was 1062 (40.7%) and the number of female students was 1546 (59.3%). The results of the study showed that the school's contribution to enhancing the values of loyalty and belonging as a whole was low with an arithmetic average (2.24) and a standard deviation (0.578). As for the level of values of loyalty and belonging among students as a whole, the results of the study showed that students' interest in values was not one degree, they paid more attention to some values than others, and this differentiation was according to the following priorities: The value of loyalty and religious affiliation ranked first. National loyalty ranked second, followed by the values of national loyalty, then the values of loyalty and family affiliation, then tribal loyalty, and finally the value of loyalty and sectarian affiliation ranked fifth. The study resulted in the absence of statistically significant differences attributed to the two variables (gender, school rate) while pointing out the existence of statistically significant differences attributed to the variable (educational zone, school stage, specialization).

هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى تعرف مدى إسهام المدرسة كمؤسسة تربوية بمكوناتها المختلفة، ودرجة فاعليتها في تعزيز قيم الولاء والانتماء وغرسها عند الطلاب، وتعرف مدى وعي الطلاب بهذه القيم، وتعرف الفروق ذات الدلالات الإحصائية تبعا لمتغيرات الدراسة، وقد اتبعت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي. وطبقت الاستبانة على عينة من طلاب التعليم الثانوي في دولة الكويت للعام الدراسي 2013-2014، بلغ قوامها (3250) طالبا وطالبة، تم استرداد (2608) استبانات؛ حيث بلغ عدد الطلبة (1062)"بنسبة (40.7%)، بينما بلغ عدد الطالبات (1546) بنسبة (59.3%). وقد أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن إسهام المدرسة في تعزيز قيم الولاء والانتماء ككل جاء منخفضا بمتوسط حسابي (2.24)، وانحراف معياري (0.578). أما مستوى قيم الولاء والانتماء عند الطلاب ككل فقد جاء مرتفعا، كما أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن اهتمام الطلاب بالقيم لم يكن على درجة واحدة، فقد أولوا بعض القيم اهتماما أكثر من البعض الآخر، وكان هذا التفاضل وفق الأولويات الآتية: فقد جاءت قيمة الولاء والانتماء الديني بالمرتبة الأولى، تلتها قيم الولاء الوطني، ثم قيم الولاء والانتماء الأسري، ثم الولاء القبلي، وأخيرا قيمة الولاء والانتماء المذهبي بالمرتبة الخامسة، وأسفرت الدراسة عن عدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا تعزى لمتغيري (الجنس، المعدل الدراسي)، في حين أشارت إلى وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا تعزى لمتغير (المنطقة التعليمية، والمرحلة الدراسية، والتخصص).
