This paper deals with trademark protection in Qatar. It covers the meaning of trademarks and the signs that would be registered in line with the current Trademarks Law of 2002. The paper also attempts to define, investigate and draw attention to the importance of well-known marks. It further examines the rights conferred by a mark and the obligation imposed upon its owner to use it. It finally looks at the right of the owner to license it to a third party before providing the conclusion |
