|a هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على مصادر الضغط النفسي لدى عينة من كبار السن في الضفة الغربية تكونت عينة الدراسة من (( 694 شخص مما تزيد أعمارهم فوق ( 60 )سنة منهم ( 320 ) ذكور و 374) ) إناث, وذلك في خمس محافظات في الضفة الغربية وهي الخليل بيت لحم والقدس و رام الله ونابلس ، منهم ( 573 ) شخصا يقيمون في بيوتهم و( 121 ) شخصا يقيمون في بيوت للمسنين .ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم استخدام استبانة الضغوط النفسية والمكون من( 57 ) موزعه ( 6) مجالات. وقد أظهرت النتائج أن كبار السن من الفلسطينيين يعانون من مصادر ضغوط نفسية متعددة، ومن بين هذه المصادر الضغوط الشخصية وأن مصادر هذه الضغوط تدرجت من المصادر الانفعالية ثم الشخصية ثم الاقتصادية كما أظهرت الدراسة وجود فروق في مصادر الضغط النفسية التي يعاني منها الفلسطينيون تعزي للجنس حيث تبين أن الذكور يعانون أكثر من الإناث، كما بينت وجود فروق في المصادر الضغوط تعزي لمكان الإقامة وأخيرا اشتملت الدراسة عدد من التوصيات.

|b This study aimed to know the sources of psychological Stress for a sample of old-aged Palestinians in the West Bank. The study sample consisted of(694) persons whose age exceeded( 60) years old of whom(320) male and( 374) female, of whom( 573) persons live in their homes and( 121) live in nursing homes in Five governorates of Hebron, Beit Lehem ,Ramallah , Jerusalem and Nablus in the Wet Bank. To achieve its goals, the study used two questionnaires, one for sources of psychological Stresses consisting of 57 parts covering six areas and the other for strategies of consensus of 57 parts covering 11 areas. The study results revealed that old- aged Palestinians suffer from psychological Stresses sources some of which are personal and the sources of such Stresses ranged from emotional to personal and economic. The study also showed that there are differences in psychological Stresses sources from which the Palestinians suffer attributed to gender by which males suffered more than females. Also the study found differences in Stress sources attributed to place of residence .the study included a number of recommendations.
