The Israeli Economy has faced huge losses as a result of the Palestinian Intifada which broke out in September 2000, and resulted in the Israeli Economic crisis, after a long boom period, reaching its top in the middle of 2000. This research aims at highlighting some areas of the Israeli economy and its performance since 1948 till the end of the twentieth century in order to recognize the strength and weakness of this unique economy, and to explain the effects of the Palestinian Intifada on the Israeli Economy. In order to achieve this objective, the study deals with some major items, such as development phases of the performance of the Israeli Economy, the effects of Intifada on it, economic sectors and the Israeli approach to overcome the economic recession. |
