|b This paper sheds light on the methods of musical composition in the poetry of Abdul Aziz Saud Al- Babtain through the study of his work a traveler in a Wasteland which will be considered as a model for his poetry. The study pinpoints the basics of musical composition that are employed by the poet by which he express his experience. Moreover, the study focuses on poetic devices that reveal the unique characteristics of poetical discourse and the uses of musical elements for reflecting his experience; this will be presented through an introduction, three main sections and a conclusion. This paper sheds light on the methods of musical composition in the poetry of Abdul Aziz Saud Al- Babtain through the study of his work a traveler in a Wasteland which will be considered as a model for his poetry. The study pinpoints the basics of musical composition that are employed by the poet by which he express his experience. Moreover, the study focuses on poetic devices that reveal the unique characteristics of poetical discourse and the uses of musical elements for reflecting his experience; this will be presented through an introduction, three main sections and a conclusion. scheme, structure, release, restriction, auditory devices; alliteration, consonance, assonance, and other devices such as incorporation and abstraction. The third section will demonstrate some forms of poetic rhythms in A Traveler in a Wasteland where the researcher shows the prevalent rhyme schemes used in Al-Babtain's poetry; the sound rhythm, the narrative rhythm, the dialogue rhythm and the repetition rhythm. The last part of the research is the conclusion that sums up the results of the study.

|a يتناول البحث أساليب التشكيل الموسيقي في شعر عبد العزيز سعود البابطين من خلال دراسة ديوانه مسافر في القفار كنموذج لشعره؛ للبحث عن أسس التشكيل الموسيقي التي وظفها الشاعر للتعبير عن تجربته، وما هي المقاييس والأدوات الفنية واللغوية التي تكشف عن خصوصية الخطاب الشعري، وكيف طوع الشاعر عناصر التشكيل الموسيقي لصياغة تجربته، وذلك من خلال مدخل وثلاثة مباحث وخاتمة. كما يتناول المدخل الحديث عن طبيعة التشكيل الموسيقي في الشعر العربي ومفهوم مصطلح التشكيل، ومصطلح الموسيقى، والعلاقة بين مصطلحي الإيقاع والوزن. والمبحث الأول يتناول تشكيل الوزن في ديوان (مسافر في القفار)؛ من خلال البحث عن الأوزان التي نظم فيها الشاعر شعره، والمبحث الثاني يتناول تشكيل القافية في ديوان "مسافر في القفار"، من خلال دراسة حرف الروي، وحركة حرف الروي، والبنية المقطعية للقافية، والإطلاق والتقييد والردف والتأسيس والتجريد، والمبحث الثالث يتناول بعض أشكال الإيقاع الشعري في ديوان "مسافر في القفار" حيث يتناول الإيقاع الصوتي، وإيقاع السرد وإيقاع الحوار، وإيقاع التكرار، ثم تأتي الخاتمة لتجمل النتائج التي تم التوصل إليها خلال الدراسة.
