المستخلص: Ce papier traite de la question de la “ruralisation” des villes, phénomène qui a accompagné l’urbanisation rapide dans les pays en développement et qui a engendré des impacts négatifs dans les sociétés urbaines, dans le sens où cette dernière tend dans son évolution naturelle vers “l’urbanité”, en tant qu’objectif. Loin du concept de “civilisation” dans la transition de la campagne vers la ville, et tout ce que cela doit comporter comme modifications dans les caractéristiques des populations rurales. Dans la mesure où le concept de “civilisation” inclut des dimensions économiques, sociales et culturelles, qui accompagnent le mouvement de la transition ou la suivent. Mais l’urbanisation a plutôt transformé l’image de la ville et ses composantes en des sociétés rurales villageoises, avec leurs traditions, coutumes et comportements.

يتناول هذا المقال ظاهرة ترييف المدن، هذه الظاهرة التي واكبت عملية التطور السريع للمدن الكبرى في الدول النامية بالذات وقد تركت آثارها السلبية على المجتمع الحضري، وإذا كان هذا الأخير يتجه في تطوره الطبيعي نحو التمدن باعتباره الهدف؛ بعيدا عن مفهوم التحضر في الانتقال من الريف إلى المدينة وما يترتب على ذلك من تغير في خصائص السكان الريفيين، حيث ينطوي مفهوم التحضر على أبعاد اقتصادية واجتماعية وثقافية توافق وعملية الانتقال أو تتبعها، وإذا كانت عملية التحضر نقيض لعملية الترييف التي حولت صورة المدن ومكوناتها إلى مجتمعات ريفية قروية بكل تقاليدها وعاداتها وسلوكياتها.

This study is about the ‘ruralisation’ issue. This phenomenon that accompanied this rapid development process of the big cities in developing countries had negative impacts on the urban population. In fact, this purposeful transition towards the urbanization of society led to a modification in the characteristics of rural citizens. Away from the concept of civilization from the countryside to a city, including the rural populations own characteristics, and in an opposition to the concept of urbanization in terms of economic, social and cultural dimensions levels, the rural community has transformed the big town (cities) into rural areas regardless to the urban populations life styles (traditions, customs and behaviors).
