The current research mainly addressed two subjects: Employment of both the religious & Poetic heritage. By Religious Heritage, the researcher meant the employment of both Holy Quran and Hadith; nevertheless she confined herself to the Holy Quran since she tackled what has to do with metaphors. By referring to meanings and situations from the Quran, the poet managed to capture his Quranic images in two contexts. In the first context, he employs the Quranic images in a new context in such a way that reflects his artistic creativity. When inspired by a certain Ayah or several Ayahs, he employs their meanings in his own words to express Quranic meanings. In the second context, he employs the Quranic images verbatim as they are in the holly Quran, or with some partial changes to express a similar situation. With regard to employment of Poetic Heritage, the poet uses the Arabic poetry in two distinct ways. On the one hand, he copies verbatim a sentence from the quoted text and employs it, which is considered a form of poetic employment. On t the other hand, he employs a simile or a metaphor used by his predecessors or contemporaries and this is exactly what the researcher tackled. Poetic borrowing in the poetry of A1 Bosiery may be evident in borrowing a line from another poem, or copying verbatim another text with some words being inverted in the quoted text, or borrowing a simile used by his predecessors. ■ Al Bosiery successfully managed to employ both poetic and Quranic images in such a way that his own text expresses a continuity with the absent text (qouted text). Not only did he introduce the absent text, but he sometimes surpassed it by making some partial modifications without changing the core meaning, nevertheless he sometimes transfers new meanings to the text. ■ Al Bosiery's dependence on the Quranic images was attributed to his religious culture which was clearly evident in his anthology. Having investigated the poet's employment of Quranic images, the researcher found out that most of his Quranic images are similes while metaphors and metonymy are rarely used. ■ Al Bosiery employed the ancient poetic tradition through borrowing a sentence from the source text and using it in the context of its metaphors. It is worth mentioning that sometimes he surpassed the quoted text and sometimes the situation was the reverse. The researcher took an intermediate position between the source text and the quoted text to identify the extent to which the poet captured the traditional images and employed new ones deviant from his predecessors.
