The main purpose of this article is to introduce the problem statement related to the derivation of Masdar from the naked triliteral (three root letters) verb in Classical Arabic (CA will be used instead). To articulate the research, the following question was used: how can computational linguistics be used to address this problem? Computational linguistics -the computer processing of language- will be used as an insightful tool to cope with derivation of Masdar from the naked triliteral verb. In CA, deriving Masdar from the naked triliteral verb is not subject to any rule, the only rule adopted by Arab grammarians is listening. In this presentation we will use phonological formation rules of the Masdar from the naked triliteral verb, to deduce constraints that support Masdar formation so that we could of the computational linguistics component. The ultimate objective is to develop a kind of computer generator to derive Masdar from the naked triliteral verb. This device is likely to help any potential learner wishing to learn the formation of the Masdar from the naked triliteral verb.
يهدف هذا المقال إلى عرض الإشكالية التي يطرحها اشتقاق مصدر الفعل الثلاثي المجرد في اللغة العربية الفصحى كما يسعي إلى إبراز الدور الذي يمكن أن تلعبه حوسبة اللغة في مقاربة هذه الإشكالية. وسنحاول الاستفادة من قدرات الحاسوب في تحليل اللغة ومعالجتها في صياغة المصدر الثلاثي المجرد. إن اشتقاق مصدر الفعل الثلاثي المجرد في اللغة العربية لا تحكمه قاعدة وليس له ضابط يضبطه غير السماع. وسنحاول الانطلاق من قوانين البناء الصواتي لمصدر الفعل الثلاثي المجرد في اللغة العربية واستثمارها في شق حوسبة اللغة من أجل إنشاء مولد معلوماتي لمصدر الفعل الثلاثي المجرد. ومن شأن هذا المولد أن يستجيب لحاجيات المتعلمين والباحثين المهتمين باشتقاق مصدر الفعل الثلاثي المجرد في اللغة العربية الفصحى.
