تلعب الزكاة دورا حيويا في انعاش الاقتصاد وتحقيق التنمية، اذ تعتبر وسيلة من وسائل التمويل الاستثماري، التي تسعى الى منع اكتناز الأموال وبقائها كموارد ساكنة لا تقدم منفعة حقيقية لاقتصاد المجتمع، هذا ما يتوافق ومبادئ الاقتصاد العالمي الحالي الذي يؤكد ان اكتناز الأموال من اهم العوامل التي تعوق التنمية الاقتصادية للدولة، لان هذه الموارد الراكدة لا تدخل بعجلة الاقتصاد، وبالتالي تقلل من حجم الموارد المحلية، وذلك ما يؤدي الى مستوى تنموي اقل بكثير مما يمكن ان يتحقق لو ان كل الموارد موظفة ومستخدمة في انعاش الاقتصاد. فالزكاة تقوم على استثمار الأموال لكي تنمو، وعليه فان أموال الزكاة لا يجب ان تستخدم فقط لسد احتياجات الفقراء الاستهلاكية مثل الطعام والملبس، وانما يجب أيضا ان تستخدم في خلق فرص استثمار لهؤلاء الفقراء حتى يستطيعوا بدورهم ان يمتلكوا أدوات الإنتاج التي تضمن لهم دخلا ثابتا، وبالتالي سد احتياجاتهم بصفة مستمرة، وهذا ما يدفع بعجلة النمو والتنمية داخل البلد، ومن هذا المنطلق حاولنا من خلال ورقتنا البحثية هذه معالجة الإشكالية التالية: ما مدى مساهمة الزكاة في تحقيق التنمية المستدامة في الدول العربية؟
Play Zakat vital role in reviving the economy and development, as it is considered a means of financing the investment, which seeks to prevent the hoarding of money and survival as resources still do not provide a real benefit to the economy of the community, this is consistent with the principles of today's global economy, which confirms that the hoarding of money from the most important factors that hinder the economic development of the state, because these resources do not enter the stagnant economy, a wheel, and thus reduce the size of local resources, and that is what lead to the development level much lower than can be achieved if all the resources used in an employee and revive the economy. Zakaah is based on the investment of funds in order to grow, and therefore the Zakat should not be used only to meet the needs of the poor consumer, such as food and clothing, but must also be used to create investment opportunities for those poor people so that they can turn to own production tools that will guarantee them a steady income, and thus meet their ongoing basis, and this is what drives a wheel of growth and development within the country, and from this perspective we have tried through our paper and this research address the following problem: How Zakat contribution to the achievement of sustainable development in Arab countries?
