This study tackled the subject the protection of topography integrated circuits from the legal side, and it aimed to illustrate the basic rules of this protection from the procedural, civil, criminal and international sides. This study was divided in to two chapters, the firs chapter was designated for a set of topics including the formal and objective provisions to protect the topography and the mentioned rights regarding the topography and to illustrate the legal nature of these rights. While the second chapter was designated to illustrate the procedural, civil, criminal and the international protection of theses topographies. Through the search in the protection topic of the topographies this study was able to deal with most of the problems related to these kinds of protection, the most important were the absence of specific rules in the Jordanian law of pretecting the integrated circuits that organize the criminal protection of the topographies, which obliges us to refer to the public rules in the penalties law to treat this legislative deficit. Also, the absence of clear standards that specifying the register to the specialized parties in the technical affairs to assertion the presence of the objective provisions to protect the topographies and the absence of co-ordination between the customs department and the register of the topographies integrated circuits, through connecting the two systems by one electronic system that enables the customs individuals at the boarders outlets to resort to in order to prevent any aggression on the topographies integrated circuits included in the protection. This study has reached recommendations regarding the subject the legal protection of the integrated circuits of the most important recommendations were the necessity to find specific rules for the criminal protection of the integrated circuits, and the necessity to determine clear standards and regulations that specify the registers authority and obligate him to refer the matter to the specialized parties in the technical affairs to assertion the presence of the objective provisions of the topography, also, the need of co-ordination between the customs department and the register of the topography integrated circuits through connecting the two system by one electronic system that enables the customs' individuals at the boarders outlets to resort to it to prevent any aggression on the topographies integrated circuits included in the protection.
