هدفت تلك الدراسة إلى رصد مستوى أداء مكاتب التوجيه والإرشاد في المجالات الإرشادية بكليات الهيئة العامة للتعليم التطبيقي والتدريب "دولة الكويت"، وبيان علاقة الارتباط والتأثير بين مستوى أداء مكاتب التوجيه والإرشاد وقدرة الطلاب والطالبات على التكيف (التأقلم) مع البيئة الأكاديمية، وأيضاً بين كل من مستوى الأداء في مجال "التوجيه والإرشاد الأكاديمي ونظام التسجيل الإلكتروني معا وبين قدرة الطلاب في التغلب على عدم وجود المرشد الأكاديمي، وقد تكونت عينة الدراسة من (420) طالب وطالبة من كليات الهيئة، ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة استخدمت استبانة تكونت من (47) فقرة موزعة على ثلاث مقاييس.وقد خلصت الدراسة إلى عدة نتائج منها: جاء مستوى أداء مكان التوجيه والإرشاد بدرجة متوسطة في مجالات التوجيه والإرشاد الخاضعة للدراسة، كما تبين وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا بين متوسطات آراء الطلاب المبحوثين حول مستوى أداء مكاتب التوجيه والإرشاد تبعا لبعض المتغيرات الديمغرافية، وقد أشارت النتائج إلى وجود علاقات ارتباط موجبه وقوية بين كل من أداء مكاتب التوجيه والإرشاد وبين قدرة الطلاب على التكيف مع البيئة الأكاديمية، كما تبين أن وجود علاقة تأثير موجبه بين مستوي أداء مكاتب التوجيه والإرشاد في كل من مجال" التوجيه والإرشاد الاجتماعي، والمهني " وقدرة الطلاب على التكيف مع البيئة الأكاديمية" وعلاقات ارتباط وتأُثير طردية (موجبة) بين مستوى الأداء في مجال التوجيه والإرشاد الأكاديمي ونظام التسجيل الإلكتروني معا وبين إمكانية التغلب على عدم وجود المرشد الأكاديمي.
This study intends to monitor the Guidance and Advising Offices performance in the advising fields of the Colleges of the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training, State of Kuwait and identify the correlation and influence between the Guidance and Advising Offices performance level and the students capability to adapt (cope) with the academic environment, as well as between both the performance level in the "academic guidance and advising” field and the electronic registration system and the students' ability to overcome the lack of academic advisor. The study sample consists of 420 male/female students from the PAAET colleges. A questionnaire including 47 items distributed to three standards has been used to achieve the objectives of the study The study reveals several conclusions as follows; the Guidance and Advising Offices performance level scores moderate degree in the guidance and advising areas subject to study, and it has been found that there are statistically significant differences among the averages of the respondent students opinions about the Guidance and Advising Offices performance level, according to some demographic variables. The results indicate that there is a positive and strong correlation between the Guidance and Advising Offices performance and the students' ability to adapt to the academic environment. It turns out that there is a positive relation between the Guidance and Advising Offices performance level in the social and vocational guidance and advising field and the students ability to cope with the academic environment, and (positive) direct relations and impacts between the performance level in the field of academic guidance and advising and the electronic registration system, on one hand, and the possibility of overcoming the lack of academic advisor, on the other.
