المستخلص: As a result of the aggravation of the external debt crisis, which has suffered the developing countries in general and Egypt in particular and as a result of their impact on the economies of these countries have developed many solutions to alleviate this crisis, including the conversion of debt to investments, which is a modern way to alleviate the debt burden, Provides an opportunity for developing countries to benefit from foreign investment by acquiring new expertise and skills that work in their entirety to achieve development. Perhaps the most important precedent is Chile 1985, which was implemented with about 30% of foreign debt. The conversion of external debt takes many forms, such as turning it into environmental protection projects, human development projects, education, health, child protection, etc. Egypt has tried this experience, as do many Arab countries, in an effort to alleviate the external debt burden .
