المستخلص: The provisions of rituals are considered to be one of the most accurate provisions of fiqh because they are related to Hajj, which is one of the pillars of Islam.
One of the important provisions of rituals is the matter of combining and shortening prayer for the resident of Makkah in “Mashayir,” as it concerns “Salah,” which also is an important pillar of Islam. It has been hugely disputed between Fuqaha and has become one of the most famous provisions of rituals.
Therefore, the researcher wanted to gather the statements of the Fuqaha' concerning that and edit them as much as he could, drawing the help from Allaah, then from the statements of the Fuqaha' based on the Book of Allaah and the Sunnah of His Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).
The study discussed the meaning of “resident of Makkah” and “non-resident of Makkah” in its introduction. The first chapter deliberated upon the matter specifying travel with a certain distance and the impact of this matter on the issue of shortening prayers by the resident of Makkah in rituals. The second chapter deals with the ruling on the shortening prayers in rituals by the resident of Makkah, while the third chapter discusses the reason for which the “performer of hajj” will shorten his prayers in rituals.
The researcher then concluded the study with a conclusion in which he mentioned the importan study results.

تعتبر مسائل المناسك من أدق وأجل مسائل الفقه؛ إذ أنها تتعلق بركن من أركان الإسلام: وهو الحج.
ومن أهم مسائل المناسك مسألة القصر والجمع للمكي في المشاعر؛ وذلك لتعلقها بركن من أركان الإسلام وهو الصلاة، وقد وقع فيها خلاف كبير بين الفقهاء، حتى أصبحت من أشهر مسائل المناسك.
من أجل ذلك أراد الباحث جمع كلام الفقهاء فيها، وتحريره بقدر الاستطاعة، مستمدا العون من الله تعالى ثم كلام الفقهاء المعتمد على كتاب الله وسنه رسوله صل الله عليه وسلم.
وقد تناول الباحث في التمهيد معني المكي وغير المكي، ثم في المبحث الأول تحدث عن مسالة تحديد السفر بمسافة معينة وأثر هذه المسألة على مسألة قصر المكي في المناسك، وفي المبحث الثاني بين الباحث حكم قصر المكي للصلاة في المناسك، وفي المبحث الثالث بين الباحث العلة التي من أجل يقصر الحاج الصلاة في المناسك.
وختم الباحث بحثه بخاتمه بين فيها أبرز النتائج التي توصل إليها في بحثه.
