المستخلص: تسجل في الآونة الأخيرة، مؤشرات تبدو واضحة للعيان، تتعلق باتجاهات الأشخاص والجماعات حيال صورة العنف، المفرطة في تجلياتها والمعروضة باستمرار عبر وسائل الإعلام المتنوعة، وتكاد تلك الاتجاهات تعبر عن حالة واحدة عامة، تلك هي المتمثلة بـ (الرعب العام)، الذي أصبح عنوانا رئيسا لحالة الجماعات في العراق. وبالتالي، فإن قياس حالة الرعب تلك، يتطلب ضرورة الانتباه لآلياته، التي قد تكون من بينها (الموقف) بلغة بارسونز والمتضمن لــ (الفاعلون، القيم أو الثقافة، والعناصر المادية)، ويمكن أن تتمثل عناصر الموقف بـ (أمكنة التجمع) (من قبيل: مراكز العمل، المقاهي، والتجمعات الطقسية، مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، وهلم جرا). عليه، يتمثل هدف البحث كشف طبيعة تلك الآليات، وكيف تتم عملية تشكل الرعب كآلية رد جمعي حيال العنف المقدم في الإعلام، فضلا عن ذلك، معرفة انعكاسات الرعب العام فيما يخص طبيعة العلاقات ما بين الجماعات، وهل ثمة تغير بنيوي في هذا الاطار؟ ولمعرفة ذلك، تم اللجوء إلى خيار منهجي يتضمن عينة عشوائية بواقع (٢٤٤) وحدة، تم اختيارها من مركز محافظة الديوانية حسب ما توافر بين أيدينا من تقديرات إحصائية أمدتنا بها المؤسسات المعنية في المحافظة.

Recorded in recent times, indicators seem clearly visible, concerning the trends of people and groups (the public) about the image of violence, excessive in its manifestations and offered us down through the media varied, and butter to say here: that these trends reflect the one case in general, those are represented by (General horror), who became the headline of the state groups in Iraq, which is trying to make her fear and horrified by the obvious public parking. Consequently, the measurement of horror case that requires the need for attention to the mechanics of taking out this horror, may be among those mechanisms, namely, (position) the language of Parsons, containing for (actors, values, culture, and physical elements), and can be elements of the situation is this, including sources Directed by local, such as those we are used to, such as: (work centers, cafes, and liturgical gatherings, social networking sites،. and so on). Thus, it becomes clear that the aim of the research is to reveal the nature of these mechanisms, and how the process constitutes terror mechanism response collectivist about the violence presented in the media, as well as that, knowing the implications of public horror in terms of the nature of the relations between the groups, and whether there is a structural change in this frame? To find out, it was resorting to the option includes a systematic random sample of (244) Unit, it has been selected from the province of Diwaniya as the availability of statistics at hand provided us with the relevant institutions in the province estimates.
