The core of the present paper is to address the visual image of Alhait (formerly Tadak) it represent the images of rural life in both of its natural and human life. Although this image is the result of natural and human conditions , however, our study focused on the role of spring water to be considered a major role in the rural life and its interactions, and its role has weakened because of the drought which behind the deterioration of parts of this rural image. The study takes its importance as it review part of the land with a natural geography unique identity and introduce (the rural image) which suffers a shortage of its geographical studies, and tackles Alhait which according to the researchers knowledge has not been studied geographically. Moreover, this type of study serves several aspects of rural development, especially planning that should mean to sustainable development and is based on the modernization while maintaining the originality. The problem of the study revolves around the knowledge of the role of these springs to draw the image of the countryside and what are the ways to maintain and progress of this image? The answer of this question serves a number of objectives, the study sought to achieve like determination of the most prominent natural factors that constitute this image, forms an image of rural life, the impact of springs on Alhait in former and recent times. So , the researcher has used the descriptive approach in this study to describe data (image and data) as take advantage of the method of analysis and comparison in the case of imaging stages of the evolution of the outer appearance. The geographical borders of the study is Alhait which surrounding by a wall Ykm and total area of the city estimated by ... km. Many recommendations have been concluded from this study i.e.: the water springs is the main role which helps to draw the image of rural life i.e. ( nature, agriculture, social... etc) and a set of recommendations were offered about how to maintain the image of rural life and its prosperity, and to work to invest the rural development.
تعرض هذه الدراسة الصورة المرئية لبلدة (الحائط) القديمة (فدك سابقا) وهي تمثل صور الحياة الريفية بشقيها الطمي والبشرى. وعلى الرغم من أن هذه الصورة هي نتاج ظروف طبيعية وبشرية متداخلا؛ إلا أن دراستنا ركزت على دور مياه العيون باعتباره لاعبا رئيسا في قيام الحياة الريفية وتفاعلها؛ كما أن ضعف دورها-بسبب الجفاف-خلف تدهور أجزاء من هذه الصورة الريفية. وتأخذ اللوامة أهميتها من كونها تعالج جزءا من الأرض ذات شخصية جغرافية وهوية فريدة، وتطرح (صورة الريف) الذي يعاني شحا في الدراسات الجغرافية الخاصة به، كما تدرس بلدة (الحائط) وهي-حسب حدود علم الباحث لم تدرس جغرافيا. كما أن هذا النوع من الدراسة يخدم جوانب عدة من التنمية الريفية خاصة من قبل التخطيط الذي ينبغي أن يعنى بالتنمية المستدامة ويقوم على التحديث مع الحفاظ على الأصالة. وتدور مشكلة الدراسة حول معرفة دور هذه العيون في رسم صورة الريف، وأهم سبل الحفاظ على هذه الصورة والرقي بها. وإجابة هذا التساؤل هي بحد ذاتها تخدم جملة من الأهداف سعت الدراسة لتحقيقها: منها معرفة أبرز العوامل الطبيعية التي رسمت هذه الصورة، وأشكال صور الحياة الريفية، وأثر العيون على بلدة (الحائط) القديمة، قديما وحديثا. ولتحقيق ذلك تمت الاستفادة من المنهج الوصفي لوصف البيانات (الصور، المعلومات) كما تمت الاستفادة من أسلوب التحليل والمقارنة في حالة تصوير مراحل تطور المظهر الخارجي. وكانت حدود الدراسة جغرافيا بلدة (الحائط) القديمة، والمحاطة بسورها البالغ طوله 7كم، وبمساحة للبلدة تقدر 4.5كم. وخرجت الدراسة بجملة من النتائج منها: أن عيون الماء هي اللاعب الرئيس في رسم صور الحياة الريفية والتي منها:(الطبيعية، الزراعية، الاجتماعية .... الخ). كما تم طرح مجموعة من التوصيات تدور حول كيفية الحفاظ على صورة الحياة الريفية والرقي بها والعمل على استثمارها في التنمية الريفية.
