فإن علم وقف القرآن له شأن عظيم في أداء النص القرآني، فهو يوضح كيف وأين ينهي القارئ قراءته للقرآن الكريم بما يعين فهم المعني، فللوقف تأثير كبير في فهم معني القرآن الكريم، وبما أن القارئ لابد له من الوقوف أثناء قراءته بالضرورة، يتعين عليه معرفة ما يجوز له الوقوف عليه وما لا يجوز، وفي هذا البحث عرفتُ الوقف وذكرت أهميته وفضله وأنواعه والدراسات حوله قديماً وحديثاً، ثم ذكرت أمثلة للوقف القرآني وصلته بالعلوم الأخرى مثل العقيدة، والفقه، والقراءات، والنحو، والتفسير، والمعني. يهدف تبصير الدارسين بأهمية هذا العلم ومدي تعلقه بالعلوم الأخرى، وبالمثال يتضح المقال، ومعرفة هذا العلم يعين القارئ فهم كتاب الله. عز وجل. على الوجه المطلوب مختتماً البحث بأهم النتائج وصلي الله على نبينا محمد وعلي آلة وصحبه وسلم.
Praise be to Allah and peace on him whom no prophet succeeds. The Qur’anic science of pause in reading the Holy Book is of great significance to the understanding of its meaning. This science explains how and where the reader completes his understanding of the Qur’anic meaning. Pauses have a great influence on understanding its meaning. Since the reader is required to pause as he proceeds in his reading, he has to know what is allowed and what is not allowed to pause at. In this paper, I have defined pause, stressed its importance, benefits, and types, and reviewed relevant past and present studies. I have then given examples of Qur’anic pause and its relation to other scientific fields, such as Aqeedah, Fiqh, Tafseer, Nahw, and meaning. The paper seeks to draw researchers’ attention to the importance of this science and its relation to other sciences. I have provided clear and representative examples which show that knowledge of this science contributes to understanding the Book of Allah, the Almighty as is required. I have concluded the study by providing important research results and recommendations. May Allah bless and bestow peace upon Prophet Muhammad, his family and disciples.
