نعرض في هذا البحث لظاهرة القلق في شعر شاعر ليبي. مكنته موهبته من الوصول إلى العالمية. بل وأصبح من الشعراء النبذ كان شعرهم شاهدا على مرحلة مهمة من تاريخنا الليبي والعربي. وقد عرضنا لمظاهر القلق وفق رؤية علمية منطقية استفدنا فيها من طروحات علماء النفس والاجتماع والفلسفة، ليخرج البحث بالنتيجة التي توقعنها منذ البداية. وهي وجود هوة كبيرة بين الفزاني والمجتمع. وإن تظاهر بالثورية والتمرد. فتمرده لم يكن سوى تعبير نفسي واضح على علم القبول لواقع هو يراه ليس سوي. بمعنى أن النظرة الشعرية للفزاني جعلته ينظر بمنظار آخر ويشاهد من زاوية مختلفة. ولا نريد هنا الاسترسال في التحليل. فليس هنا محله. بل أردنا التوضيح لما كان يفسر الحياة القلقة التي نقرأها في شعر علي الفزاني. وفي هذا البحث نتناول تعريفا القلق بوصفه خبرة شخصية مؤلمة يعيشها الشاعر، نتيجة شعوره بعدم الاهتمام من الأفراد المحيطين به، وكذلك شعوره بعدم القدرة على إقامة علاقة اجتماعية، انعكست في مجمل شعره.
