|a الكارست هو شكل متفرد من التضاريس تطور بفعل عمليات الإذابة للصخور. وعادة ما تتعلق هذه العمليات بنظام الصرف للمياه الجوفية ، وتوفر موارد مائية هامة. وتشير الأبحاث الحالية إلى أن الكارست يرتبط ارتباطا وثيقا بالنظام الأرضي وحماية البيئة، وغالبا ما يشكل مخاطر طبيعية فعالة مثل: فيضانات الحفر البالوعية (الوعائية) والهبوط الأرضي في المناطق الحضرية. إن علاقة الكارست مع الهيدروجيولوجيا تعد عاملا مهما في دراسة تلوث المياه ودورات الغذاء في هندسة العلوم الأرضية والجيولوجيا الزراعية.

|f Karst is a unique form of terrain developed by the melting processes of rocks. Such processes usually relate to the groundwater drainage system, providing important water resources. Current research suggests that karst is closely linked to the terrestrial system and environmental protection, and often poses effective natural hazards such as the flood of catchment (vascular) drilling and land subsidence in the urban areas.
