استند البحث الحالي على متغيرين يتفاعلان فيما بينهما ليشكلان الإطار الفكري والفلسفي للبحث وهما (عمليات إدارة المعرفة وقرارات العمليات) وقد انطلق البحث من مشكلة عبر عنها بعدد من التساؤلات استهدف من الإجابة عنها استجلاء الفلسفة النظرية لهذين المتغيرين كونهما من المواضيع الحديثة في البيئة العراقية ومن ثم تشخيص علاقتها، تكونت عينة البحث من الشركة العامة للبطاريات والتي تعتمد في عملها إدارة المعرفة والتي يتوقع أنها اقرب ما تكون الى المنظمات المعرفية في تطبيقها لقرارات العمليات وقد حددت عينة البحث من (30) مشاهدة من أولئك الذين في المستوى التنظيمي الأول والثاني في تلك الشركة وقد استخدمت الاستبانة أداة الدراسة الرئيسة في جمع البيانات والمعلومات وتم اعتماد البرنامج الإحصائي (SPSS) في تحليل الاستجابات وخلص البحث إلى جملة من النتائج، من أبرزها كان الآتي: 1- تمنح إدارة المعرفة المنظمة خيارات عدة لحل المشكلات التي تواجهها فضلاً عن تقديم الدعم والإسناد لإكساب المنظمة ميزة تنافسية وقيامها بدور مباشر يمكن المنظمة من التعرف على طبيعة قرارات العمليات التي تتبنها. 2-استخدام المنظمة لعمليات إدارة المعرفة سوف يقلل الجهد والوقت والكلفة التي تتحملها المنظمة نتيجة تجميع البيانات ومعالجتها وتحويلها الى معلومات. 3-تحديد المنظمة لقرارات العمليات التي تتبناها يمكنها من إعطاء الأولويات المناسبة لتلك القرارات كلاً على وفق الأهمية التي من خلالها تستطيع المنظمة تحقيق أهدافها في مجال إدارة العمليات.
