Fidaa oil field is a multi-layering reservoir belongs to concession NC-74A, and located in the western part of the Sirte basin in north central Libya. Petrophysics and reserves characteristics of Facha member studied in detail according to 23 complete package of acoustic resistivity, neutron, sonic, and induction logs of Fidaa field selected for 23 oil well. Back-stripping technique also used depends on 13 seismic lines to understand the structural development of the field. The digenesis and the depositional environment reflect the main controlling factors on the petrophysical characteristics of Facha reservoir units. Structurally the field is an elongated northwest-southeast anticline bounded by two normal faults, forming in the northeast fault important oil entrapment part. Back-stripping application clearly presents a direct occurring of small southeast fault after Facha deposition and lithification. An average value of total porosity and water saturation are 18% and 30% respectively and the hydrocarbon pore volume range from 2 feet to 23 feet. The reserve estimates present the initial oil in place (IOIP) equal to 188 MMSTB and 50 MMSTB as recoverable oil in the Facha reservoir.
