المستخلص: يتناول هذا البحث بالدراسة النحوية والصرفية استعمالات الضرورة الشعرية لدى أبي تمام والبحتري والمتنبي باعتبارهم أبرز شعراء العصر العباسي، ويهدف إلى الكشف عن أنواع الضرائر التي وردت في تراكيبهم ومنهجهم في استعمالها، وفي سبيل تحقيق ذلك اشتمل البحث على مقدمة وتمهيد عني بتعريف الضرورة وأنواعها وتقسيمات النحويين لها وبيان موجز لمعالم اللغة الشعرية وعلاقتها بالضرورة، ومبحثين أحدهما للضرائر المستحسنة، والآخر للضرائر المستقبحة، وخلص البحث إلى عدد من النتائج منها أن النحويين نظروا في علاقة الضرورة بالنظام اللغوي؛ فما كان لها أصل في القياس أو الاستعمال أو وجه شبه باستعمال وصفت بالحسن، وإلا وصفت بالقبح، وأن أكثر من وردت في شعره الضرائر من الشعراء الثلاثة الذين عني بهم البحث البحتري ثم المتنبي فأبو تمام .

This research deals with grammatical and morphological studies of the uses of the poetic necessity of Abu Tamam, Al-Buhturi and Al-Mutaunabbi as they are considered the most prominent poets of the Abbasid era. It aims to reveal the types of necessities contained in their structures and their approaches to using them. In order to achieve this, the research included an introduction and a preface for the definition of necessity, its types and its divisions by the grammarians, and a brief description of the features of the poetic language and its relationship to necessity, and two topics, one of them is for desirable necessities, and the other one is for undesirable necessities. The research concluded in a number of results, including that the grammarians have looked at the relationship of necessity to the linguistic system but it had no basis in measuring or using or any resemblance to use which was described as good, otherwise it was described as bad. Among the three poets mentioned in the research, Al-Buhturi is the one who used necessities in his poetry the most, followed by Al Mutanabbi then Abu Tammam.
