المستخلص: لقد ارتأيت البحث في موضوع المنطق والرّياضيّات عند إخوان الصّفا لإبراز أنّ الحضارة العربية الإسلامية، حضارة قائمة في أساسها على العقل والمنطق في فهم الدّين الإسلامي وبناء تصوّر متكامل للكون وللوجود، رغم ما شابها في العصور المتأخّرة من الانحطاط وشيوع الخرافة والجهل. وقد قسّمنا مقالنا هذا إلى بابين كبيرين، حلّلنا في الباب الأوّل منه كيفيّات وأساليب حضور المنطق والرّياضيات في رسائل إخوان الصّفا من خلال استعانتهم بالرّياضيات بصنفيها المجرد والتطبيقي وكذلك بعلم المنطق اليوناني من أجل تطوير فهم جديد للشّريعة الإسلامية، وتشكيل رؤية متميّزة في النّظر إلى المادّة وإلى ما وراء الطبيعة (المباحث الميتافيزيقية). ثم بيّنا في الباب الثّاني من مقالنا أهداف ووظائف حضور المنطق والرّياضيات في رسائل إخوان الصّفا وقد صنّفناها إلى ثلاثة أنواع: الوظيفة التصحيحية والوظيفة البنائية والوظيفة الإصلاحية، وانتهينا في آخر مقالنا إلى جملة من النّتائج والاستنتاجات.

I saw the research in the subject of logic and mathematics with The Brethren of Purity (Ikhwān Al-Ṣafā) to show that the Arab Islamic civilization is based on reason and logic in the understanding of the Islamic religion and building an integrated perception of the universe and existence, despite what it experienced in the late ages of decadence and the prevalence of superstition and ignorance. We have divided this article into two large chapters, we have analyzed in the first chapter the ways and methods of the presence of logic and mathematics in the letters of The Brethren of Purity (Ikhwān Al-Ṣafā) through their use of mathematics in both of its kind and pure mathematics and applied mathematics as well as the Greek logic in order to develop a new understanding of Islamic law, and create a distinct vision to look at the matter and what is Beyond the Nature (metaphysical viewpoint). In the second chapter of our article, we explained the objectives and functions of the presence of logic and mathematics in the letters of The Brethren of Purity (Ikhwān Al-Ṣafā). We classified them into three types: corrective function, structural function, and reformative function, and in the last of our article we have concluded with a set of conclusions.
